Irish Remedy 2026 Brings Community, Music & Family Fun to Grand Rapids
Grand Rapids, MI

The Irish Remedy celebration returned to Grand Rapids on Saturday, March 14, 2026, delivering a festive, family‑friendly St. Patrick’s Day weekend experience that drew crowds of locals and visitors alike to the Monroe North Business District. The event, produced by Remedy Collective in partnership with City Built Brewing, offered six hours of live music, interactive entertainment, and neighborhood energy — all free to attend.

From early afternoon through evening, attendees enjoyed performances by local DJs and bands, engaging activities for all ages, and vendors showcasing their craft and food offerings. Families with children were spotted throughout the walkable block party, enjoying the outdoor setup, chalking, yard games, warming tents, and community atmosphere that blended celebration with neighborhood culture.

Organizers designed the event as a celebration of both St. Patrick’s Day and Grand Rapids’ thriving local scene, emphasizing support for area musicians, small businesses, and makers. The event included a Passport Pot O Gold that encouraged the community to be a ‘Tourist in their own city’ visiting each participating location for a stamp. Once returned, they were entered to win local collaborated gifts such as tickets to Lindsey Stirling at the new Acrisure Amphitheater, tickets to the Intersection shows, gift baskets from Atwater, DayDreamer Domes and more!

Local residents shared their appreciation for the event’s inclusive vibe and focus on EVERYTHING community — a contrast to more commercialized St. Patrick’s Day events hyper focused on alcohol consumption. Many families noted that Irish Remedy offered an enjoyable way to celebrate the holiday with the high costs often associated with large ticketed festivals.

Free for all ages, guests were free to explore the block party, sample local food and drink, and tap into the cultural spirit of the day. Irish Remedy organizers, Matthew & Megan Bowman say the success of this year’s Irish Remedy reflects growing support for community‑focused events that highlight local talent and businesses Grand Rapids has to offer.

As St. Patrick’s Day festivities continue across Grand Rapids and beyond, Irish Remedy stands out as a celebration rooted in inclusivity, creativity, and neighborhood pride — and many are already looking forward to what’s next. We cant wait for 2027!

Irish Remedy Can’t Happen Without You

Irish Remedy has grown into something bigger than a one-day event — it’s a full community effort powered by people who care about bringing Grand Rapids together.

As we look ahead to 2027, we’re building a team of individuals who are ready to show up, take ownership, and help execute something meaningful from start to finish.

This means:

Being part of the setup and production process

Helping create a smooth, safe, and organized experience during the event

Staying through teardown and final cleanup

Taking pride in the details that make the day successful

We’re not just looking for volunteers — we’re looking for people who:

Follow through on what they commit to

Take initiative without being asked

Care about the success of the entire event

Want to be part of building something that supports local artists, businesses, and community

If that’s you, we want you on this team.
